Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Surbhi, the founder of Dharohr.

By profession, I've spent my career in finance, working with numbers, strategy, and structure. But beyond spreadsheets and boardrooms, I've always been deeply drawn to India's textiles, craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of things made by hand.

What began as admiration slowly became a purpose.

As I travelled, met artisans, and explored India's weaving traditions, I realised that many extraordinary crafts were slowly disappearing beneath the pace of mass production and fast fashion. I wanted to create a brand that honoured these traditions without making them feel dated. A brand that celebrated heritage through clothing women would genuinely love to wear today.

That vision became Dharohr.

Every collection reflects what I personally value: breathable natural fabrics, timeless silhouettes, thoughtful details, and understated elegance. I believe clothing should make you feel comfortable, confident, and connected to yourself, to the people who created it, and to the stories woven into every thread.

Dharohr is rooted in a simple philosophy. Handloom is not a trend, and luxury shouldn't be defined by an unattainable price tag. We believe luxury is found in honest craftsmanship, breathable natural fabrics, timeless design, and the care that goes into making every piece.
